Before Hurricane Katrina, our beach highway led past entertainment sites , souvenir shops, restaurants, businesses, homes and churches. Then, on August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina rolled in.

Humpty Dumpty once greeted visitors to a mini-golf arcade. He didn't fall, but, after Katrina, only Humpty and his fractured wall were left behind.
